The shutter will fire, but the exposure meter will not move. On rare occasions, the meter may light up, but it almost never lights up. When it lights up, it is working properly. Therefore, AUTO has no effect when the lamp is off. There is no problem with the lens. DIAL DATA ME also works without problems.
